The timeline aligns with President Trump's push for regulatory clarity but exceeds his initial expectations. The bill's progress follows last week's Senate approval of a stablecoin framework, which Scott urged the House to expedite.

Senator Cynthia Lummis, leading the digital assets subcommittee, pledged cooperation with Scott's deadline. Meanwhile, House lawmakers remain cautious in outlining their approach to companion bills on market structure and stablecoins, despite earlier momentum behind the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act.
